The Stormers will be looking to bounce back after last week's defeat to the Reds when they play the basement-dwelling Lions.
Last year's finalists entered their Round Eight clash against the Queenslanders as favourites, but proceeded to shoot themselves in the foot.
Ill-discipline was a major contributing factor to the loss, with the Stormers losing two players during the course of the game to the sin-bin.
However, they could well have lost even with 15 players on the field.
If Schalk Burger and company cannot bag five points against the last-placed Lions, they could be facing an extremely long tour overseas following their Round Ten bye.
The Lions have lost seven times so far this season and have not managed to win at home for more than two years.
The last time their supporters left Ellis Park with a smile was on May 8, 2009 when, ironically, Earl Rose scored the winner against the Highlanders.
"It is definitely a sore point," said Lions captain Doppies la Grange.
"The guys know we are letting our fans down and we have more pride than what we are showing at the moment, so we have to get that pride back and make it a difficult place for other teams to win."
