New Zealand flanker Jerome Kaino has warned his team-mates to watch their discipline or risk paying the price against South Africa on Saturday.
The All Blacks entertain the defending champions in the opening match of the 2010 Tri-Nations - with Kaino believing the deadly accuracy of Springboks fly-half Morne Steyn could have a huge impact on the game.
"Our discipline comes into that," Kaino told NZPA.
"If we are solid in our discipline and don't give away silly penalties, I'm sure we'll take Morne out of the game."
The All Blacks have made three changes for the clash, with powerhouse centre Ma'a Nonu, veteran full-back Mils Muliaina and tighthead prop Owen Franks coming into the starting XV.
Israel Dagg, Benson Stanley and Neemia Tialata drop out of the matchday 22.
South Africa skipper John Smit believes the experience on his side's bench could prove the difference at Eden Park.
The likes of Danie Rossouw, Ruan Pienaar and Butch James have been named among the replacements for the clash - with all but Gio Aplon having reached double figures for Test appearances.
Devastating
In comparison, the All Blacks have opted to blood their rising stars - with Piri Weepu (37 caps) and Richard Kahui (10) the most experienced of the seven replacements.
And Smit has no doubt about the quality of options available to coach Peter de Villiers.
"He has players who can perhaps turn up the pace or give him a different feel," Smit old NZPA.
"We have big Danie as a loosie, which means if he comes on, he could be quite a devastating ball carrier.
"Gio can pretty much slot in the back three, speed things up and have a crack from out wide as well.
"There's a big flavour in our reserves, but it depends entirely on what Peter wants to do."
Rossouw is included in the Boks squad after overcoming a hip problem, while Botha has recovered from a hamstring injury.
