Wales have received a boost by news that Stephen Jones has been passed fit to take his place on the bench against New Zealand.
Jones damaged his thumb in the 42-9 defeat to the All Blacks in Dunedin and was forced to miss most of training in the build up to the second Test.
However coach Warren Gatland has confirmed that Jones has been cleared to start the match on the bench - although he has reiterated that Dan Biggar was always going to wear the No.10 shirt in Hamilton.
"It was always the plan for Dan to get one of the games and it was just deciding whether it was the first or second Test," the New Zealander said.
"Stephen came through a fitness test this morning so he's fine to sit on the bench. We've been a little bit hit by injuries and we didn't bring a big squad with us so to have Steve to cover the bench is a big boost for us."
Aside from bringing in Biggar, Gatland has handed Jonathan Davies a start in the centres after Andrew Bishop broke his hand in last weekend's game.
On the bench , Will Harries, Richie Rees and Craig Mitchell are all called in.
Experience
While Wales have only tweaked their line-up, the All Blacks have made wholesale changes.
Full-back Israel Dagg, centre Conrad Smith and lock Anthony Boric are all ruled out through injury, so Tom Donnelly, Mils Muliaina and Richard Kahui come into the starting XV.
Zac Guildford, Tony Woodcock, Neemia Tialata and Jerome Kaino also come into the side - and despite the alterations New Zealand captain Richie McCaw is confident there will not be a drop in standards at the Waikato Stadium.
"There's a fair bit of experience come back in and that always helps," said McCaw.
"We've also got the attitude that we don't want to drop our standards just because there are changes.
"The way we look at it is that we've got to have a performance that's the same, if not better, and try and do it for 80 minutes.
"They are going to be a team that's hurting so they're going to come out and climb (into us)."
