LV= Cup: Ospreys see off Dragons in high-scoring clash in Bridgend

Dragons head coach Lyn Jones felt his side could have scored even more points after hitting Ospreys for a half-century in LV= Cup action on Friday night.
The visitors managed to score 41 points without reply in the first half at Bridgend's Brewery Field groun - only for Ospreys to hit back with 35 of their own after the break.
However the Dragons held on for a 51-35 triumph on their travels, with Lewis Evans (2), Cory Hill (2), Jonathan Evans and Ross Wardle all touching down.
"Winning is important as it gives you confidence. We were 41-0 up at half-time as we made very few errors, pulled together and played well," Jones said.
"It was difficult to maintain motivation as the referee tried to even it up after the interval. We should have had another 10 points as the referee ruled out a perfectly good try and disallowed a valid penalty from Geraint (Rhys Jones)."
Home rally
Ospreys' rally saw them score five tries from Hanno Dirksen, Dafydd Howells, Aisea Natoga, Cai Griffiths and a penalty try, with Sam Davies converting all of them.
Yet coach Gruff Rees was critical of his side's performance which saw them concede the most points in a single game since their inception.
"The first half was cringe worthy and border line unacceptable. Our attitude was in question and a few home truths were told at half-time," he said.
"We allowed their first-choice front five to dominate and we conceded three of the softest tries you'll ever see from driving line-outs with our kick and chase game also being dreadful."
Rees accepted that Ospreys improved in the second half but admitted they were helped out by the Dragons taking their foot off the pedal when holding such a huge lead.
"They took off a number of their experienced forwards, which allowed us to get some field position and settle but there were some positives," he said.
"However we don't have enough strength in depth. Our back row had three appearances in total for the region whilst their No 8 Lewis Evans has had 150 games for them."
