Mike Phillips and Gavin Henson return to boost an injury-hit Ospreys team for home fixture against the Scarlets on Saturday.
The selection of the two Wales internationals will be a boost to the hosts, who have lost three of their last four outings in the Magners League.
Shane Williams is ruled out having suffered a shoulder impingement problem that he reported to the medical team following the recent Heineken Cup fixtures.
Nikki Walker is another on the sidelines having undergone surgery to repair a partial tear of his hamstring muscle origin on his left leg.
He will require a lengthy period of rehabilitation before returning to action and faces a lay-off of around six months, meaning he won't play again this season.
Tom Smith suffered an impact injury against the Dragons while Duncan Jones is recovering from surgery to fix a chronic stress fracture in his right foot.
Add to that the fact that Ian Evans had undergone ACL reconstruction surgery after damaging his right knee, it is fair to say the Ospreys are making the most of their resources.
Still, the team is not exactly stretched, and features Henson and Phillips in an all-international - Jonny Vaughton is an international Sevens player - back-line.
