Cardiff Blues have decided to rest a number of their Wales internationals for the Magners League clash with the struggling Scarlets at Parc y Scarlets on Saturday.
Martyn Williams, Gethin Jenkins, Tom Shanklin and Andy Powell are all given the week off, while Kiwi pair Ben Blair and Paul Tito are also rested for the clash.
In Blair's absence, Leigh Halfpenny fills in at full-back, while young scrum-half Darren Allinson will make only his third start for the Blues.
In the pack, Scott Morgan and Bradley Davies team up in the second row while the back-row also has a new feel with Maama Molitika starting at No.8, Ben White at blindside and Robin Sowden-Taylor captaining from openside
Meanwhile, the Scarlets have made two changes to their starting line-up with lock Simon Maling and wing Ceiron Thomas coming for Dominic Day and Darren Daniel respectively.
