Scarlets coach Nigel Davies has named a youthful starting XV for his side's LV= Cup clash with out-of-form Leicester on Saturday.
With several players out through injury, chances have been handed to a group of youngsters including No. 8 Kieran Murphy.
Adam Warren, who scored two tries last weekend on his competitive Scarlets debut and wings Liam Williams and Dale Ford have also been included in the line-up.
New signing Sione Timani, who has not yet played for the Scarlets as he has been on World Cup duty with Tonga, will start on the bench.
"We are approaching this competition and fixture as we would any other, it is one of three competitions we are in and it gives us the opportunity to allow some of our younger new Scarlets the chance to show their potential," Davies said.
Big game
"This is a big opening fixture for us in the LV=Cup against a strong Leicester side so our players they have to realise they must stand-up and perform under pressure.
"For us it's great that Leicester may come with strong team and we'll have to be on top of our game to be competitive."
Leicester have also opted to field a young side, with second-rower Geoff Parling being named captain for the trip to Parc y Scarlets.
