The Scarlets have named four scrum-halves in their squad to face Parisian giants Stade Français.
Injuries have hit the Welsh region hard, so coach Nigel Davies has been forced to play Sevens specialist Lee Williams on the wing, while fellow No.9s Gavin Cattle and Sililo Martens provide the only back cover on the bench.
Martin Roberts is the lucky scrum-half to be playing in his correct position, with Ceiron Thomas moving to full-back to cover for the injured Morgan Stoddart.
Davies has no such problems in the pack, with Kiwi lock Simon Maling even recovering from a hamstring problem to take his place on the bench.
Stade Français are able to name a near full-strength side, with Juan Martin Hernandez set to star in the No.10 jersey as one half of a deadly kicking duo with full-back Lionel Beauxis.
In the midfield, Stéphane Glas is preferred to Mathieu Bastareaud, who is named on the bench alongside Aussie import Mark Gasnier.
