Ulster hooker Nigel Brady will captain his side, while Rory Best is out with a thigh injury for the trip to the Scarlets on Saturday.
After his performance in Galway, last weekend, Isaac Boss will once again start at full-back, with Clinton Schifcofske taking to the bench.
Ulster start their final game with many experienced players not selected due to injury.
Declan Fitzpatrick starts at tighthead prop, due to BJ Botha's neck injury, while Ian Whitten starts at inside centre, allowing Paddy Wallace to recover from a head injury.
Matt McCullough is back starting at blind side flank, while Stephen Ferris is rested ahead of the Lions tour to South Africa.
Ulster head into the Magners League clash in 6th position on the league table, one point above the Scarlets and only one point separates the two teams.
A win should see Ulster finish the Magners League as they currently sit, in 6th position and they can take heart from their recent away form following successive wins away from Ravenhill.
Ulster have not won three successive away games since season 2005/06, though, and have lost their last ten encounters with Welsh teams in the Magners League since a 20-8 home victory over the Scarlets on 29 February 2008.
The teams have met on three occasions this season, once in the Magners League and twice in Europe, with honours even at a win apiece and a draw.
