Graeme Morrison is determined to take his chance after his recall to the Scotland team to face France in the RBS Six Nations on Sunday.
The Glasgow centre was axed by Scotland coach Andy Robinson in the autumn after disappointing displays against Fiii and Australia.
However having recaptured his form back with the Warriors, Morrison will now partner club colleague Max Evans against Les Bleus - and the 27-year-old can't wait to show what he can do at Murrayfield.
Morrison said: "Having gone back to Glasgow, it's been great for me to get a bit more ball in my hands and run, and show what I could do with it.
"So, I'll be looking to do that on Sunday. The form that I've had in the past couple of months has given my confidence a real boost.
"I'm glad to be back and I'm going to do everything I can to be part of a win."
As well as the recall of Morrison and Evans, Robinson has made four other changes to his starting XV.
Record points-scorer Chris Paterson, Alasdair Dickinson, Kelly Brown and John Barclay are all included for the match.
Explosive
France centre Yannick Jauzion is expecting a tough afternoon against Morrison and Evans - claiming the duo are "not easy to defend against".
Jauzion, who will team up with Mathieu Bastareaud for the clash, told L'Equipe: "We played against the two Glasgow centres last year. Evans has great qualities with his explosive power and his outflanking. Morrison is more physical, capable of handling the ball for Scotland.
"They are not easy to defend against taking into account their complementary style of play and their capacity to play in the defence.
"Like the All Blacks, they initiate moves by having very close support of ball carriers."
France go into the game with a number of key players ruled out - including Fabien Barcella, Damien Traille, Dimitri Yachvili, Sebastien Chabal, Romain Millo-Chluski and Jean-Baptiste Elissalde.
However the likes of Morgan Parra, Lionel Nallet, Pascal Pape and Aurélien Rougerie are more than able replacements.
The biggest shock in the French team sees Benjamin Fall win a second cap at the expense of Vincent Clerc.
