Things will not get any easier for struggling Scotland when they face France in the RBS Six Nations on Sunday.
Scotland lost their opening two games of this season's championship against England and Wales - and they are desperate to find the winning formula.
However they have lost their five previous encounters against France, who reached the World Cup final last year.
Coach Andy Robinson has made four changes - two enforced - as he looks to turn his side's campaign around at Murrayfield.
Alasdair Strokosch and Max Evans are both ruled out through injury, so John Barclay and Stuart Hogg come into the side.
Hogg's inclusion means Rory Lamont switches from full-back to the wing, while his brother Sean will move to outside centre to accommodate the return of Graeme Morrison.
Same starting XV
The final change sees Mike Blair get the nod at scrum-half ahead of Chris Cusiter.
France coach Philippe Saint-Andre has opted to stick with the same starting XV that was due to face Ireland.
The clash at the Stade de France against Ireland was called off moments before kick-off due to a frozen pitch - with Les Bleus now facing a run of four games in four weeks.
Saint-Andre has resisted the urge to tinker with his line-up - with Julien Dupuy continuing to cover for the injured Dimitri Yachvili on the bench.
Having seen his starting debut delayed, Yoann Maestri will now make his first start after coming off the bench against Italy.
