The Sharks aim to get back on track in their game against the Brumbies.
Still suffering from last week's defeat against the Stormers, the Sharks are looking to improve on their current spot at sixth in the Super Rugby table.
The Brumbies are down in 10th position, having won just two of their last nine matches.
After conceding three tries in the opening 12 minutes of their 47-36 defeat against the Cheetahs, Tony Rea's side will also be looking to turn things around at Kings Park.
Hurting
With a bye lined up for next weekend, Sharks coach John Plumtree is determined to secure a win before the break.
He said: "We have to back the boys. We have a bye next weekend so it's important that we play well this week."
The Sharks do not have a great track record in clashes against the Brumbies, but Plumtree knows his team is hungry for a win.
"The Brumbies are a side we haven't beaten in a while but they'll be hurting a bit after their loss to the Cheetahs so it's going to be a big game, for both teams. It's really important that we play well as a group and that we come out feeling good about ourselves.
"There is a fair bit of pressure on us to get it right."
