The Sharks will be boosted by the return of Pat Lambie for the Super Rugby clash with the Hurricanes at Kings Park.
Lambie has been sidelined for the past three games after suffering a hand injury against the Chiefs.
However the highly-talented fly-half has been passed fit and replaces Jacques-Louis Potgieter as one of a number of changes.
Bismarck du Plessis has been ruled out so John Smit, Tendai Mtawarira and Eugene van Staden team up in the front row, while there is a first start of the season for Ross Skeate.
Jacques Botes and Lwazi Mvovo also come into the starting XV, while Craig Burden is named on the bench.
All Blacks full-back Cory Jane returns to the Hurricanes side after missing the past two weeks on paternity leave.
The only other change to the side sees Neemia Tialata starting at tighthead with Michael Bent on the bench.
