England are aiming to finish their three-Test tour of South Africa on a high when they head to Port Elizabeth.
England have been edged out in the first two Tests - losing 22-17 in Durban and 36-27 in Johannesburg - however they have shown their resilience and fighting qualities on both occasions.
But head coach Stuart Lancaster knows that his side will have to show more if they are to go on and avoid a series whitewash.
Injuries have hampered England going into the tour finale, with Ben Youngs - scorer of two tries in the second Test - and captain Chris Robshaw among those missing.
Alex Corbisiero, who was initially selected to start, is another to miss out after picking up a knock in training.
As a result Danny Care, James Haskell and Tom Palmer are recalled to the starting XV, while Thomas Waldrom and Alex Goode are handed their first starts after impressing off the bench in Johannesburg.
Changes
Joe Marler, who was dropped to the bench for Corbisiero, returns to the Starting XV with Paul Doran Jones named among the replacements, where he is joined by the fit-again Brad Barritt.
South Africa have been forced into three changes for the final Test - with Willem Alberts and Pat Lambie ruled out through injury and Frans Steyn unavailable.
The absence of the impressive Alberts means Jacques Potgieter is handed his debut, while Gio Aplon comes in at full-back for Lambie.
Steyn misses the match as he is getting married, so Wynand Olivier will partner captain Jean de Villiers in the centres.
Coach Heyneke Meyer has made two further changes on the bench, with fly-half Elton Jantjies poised to win his first cap and Ryan Kankowski replacing Keegan Daniel.
