Stefan Terblanche is set to make his debut for Ulster after being named on the bench for the Heineken Cup clash with Aironi.
The former South Africa full-back only arrived in Belfast on Sunday but he has gone straight into the matchday squad.
Coach Brian McLaughlin has also included Ruan Pienaar and Paddy McAllister in his starting line-up.
