Coach Matt Williams takes charge of Ulster for the first time for their Heineken Cup clash with Bourgoin on Friday night.
The Australian has replaced Mark McCall at Ravenhill who resigned in mid-November after a string of poor results.
Ulster and Bourgoin form the bottom two in Pool 2 with the 1999 champions having lost all four of their games to date.
Williams has opted to stick with the line-up named for last week's postponed Magners League clash with Munster.
That means Italian international second-rower Carlo Del Fava is retained as captain, with Paul Wallace and David Humphreys making up the half-back partnership.
For their part, the French outfit will be hoping to complete a double over their opponents having beaten Ulster 24-17 in France in November.
However, they have a poor away record in the competition, their last victory on the road coming against Sale back in the 2002/03 season.
