Four changes come in the back division, with Jamie Smith, Paul Emerick, Andrew Trimble and Ian Whitten coming into the starting XV.
In the pack, Tom Court moves to loosehead as Declan Fitzpatrick has been ruled out through injury, with Bryan Young drafted in at tighthead and Andi Kyriacou handed the No.2 jersey.
Ryan Caldwell will partner captain Johann Muller in the second row, with Stephen Ferris starting in the back row and Pedrie Wannenburg named on the bench.
Edinburgh head coach Rob Moffat has made two changes to his line-up for the trip to Ravenhill.
Craig Hamilton comes into the second row in place of Esteban Lozada, while captain Roddy Grant returns to the back row.
On the bench, Scotland Under-20s forward Dave Denton is poised to make his debut.
