Flanker Jono Jenkins will make his first start for the Waratahs in Saturday's clash with Western Force.
Jenkins, who has previously made two cameo appearances off the bench, replaces the injured Pat McCutcheon in the only change to the Waratahs line-up.
Coach Michael Foley has made a further switch on the bench, though, with Sitaleki Timani set for his first of the season after returning from Japan.
The Force, on the other hand, have made a number of changes to their starting XV after they were hit hard by injuries.
Cameron Shepherd, Nick Cummins, Napolioni Nalaga, Patrick Dellit, Richard Brown and Toby Lynn are among those currently sidelined, meaning short-term signing David Harvey and former NRL player Will Tupou are among those handed their chances.
