Wasps director of rugby Ian McGeechan believes his side will have to take their game to "the next level" when they tackle Saracens at Adams Park.
Wasps go into the game on the back of three straight wins, having struggled in the opening weeks of the season.
However, Saracens are also in top form and with a tough run of fixtures coming up, McGeechan wants his players to raise their performances.
"We are heading into another run of tough fixtures," said McGeechan.
"Saracens have recruited a lot of players and have a strong side and there are no easy games.
"We know there's a lot of pressure on us to play and I think we have taken a lot of confidence out of the last three games but we are going to have to take our game to the next level and compete in what will be a very tough game on Saturday."
Wasps make three changes for the clash, with Lachlan Mitchell replacing the injured Mark van Gisbergen at full-back, Danny Cipriani getting the nod ahead of Dave Walder at 10 and Joe Worsley named ahead of Serge Betsen in the pack.
Struggling
Saracens director of rugby Eddie Jones is refusing to underestimate Wasps, despite the defending champions currently struggling at the wrong end of the table.
"Wasps may not have had the results they would have liked in the Premiership so far this season and they may be down a bit on confidence, but like all good sides it can take just one play to change that," he said.
"We're expecting them to come out fighting and we will have to be ready for that.
"Our aim is to start the New Year in the top four of the Guinness Premiership and secure a home quarter final in the Challenge Cup. We're on target in Europe and good performances over the Christmas period, starting at Wasps on Saturday, will go a long way to achieving that."
Jones has recalled Glen Jackson and Andy Farrell to his starting line-up for the derby.
