Wasps welcome an injury-hit Scarlets to Adams Park knowing they cannot afford to slip up in the battle to top Pool Five.
Munster currently lead the way with two rounds to go. They travel to Clermont this weekend before hosting Wasps at Thormond Park.
With a tough trip to Ireland ahead of them, Ian McGeechan knows a home victory is vital on Sunday.
"Because of the nature of this pool, every game is a cup final, and Sunday's game is no exception," he said.
"We need a win to stay in the running for qualification to the quarter finals, and the quality of every team in this pool means we have to be wholly focussed on producing a very high quality performance, because Llanelli are a quality side who will come to Adams Park looking for a result."
Strong side
Wasps will have to do without the injured Tom Voyce and Josh Lewsey, who has been granted leave to get married.
However, McGeechan has still put out a strong side, so strong in fact that Joe Worsley finds himself on the bench.
Fellow England international Tom Palmer, selected in the Saxons squad earlier this week, is also amongst the replacements.
Dominic Waldouck comes in for Voyce on the wing while Mark Van Gisbergen starts at full-back.
The Scarlets will be looking to register their first point in this year's competition when they travel to Adams Park.
The Magners League outfit are stuck at the bottom of Pool Five with nothing to play for but pride in the final two round of matches.
Casualty list
Their cause this weekend is not helped by a lengthy casualty list. A total of 11 players are ruled out.
First-choice half-back pairing Stephen Jones and Dwayne Peel are ruled out, as are wing duo Dafydd James and Nathan Brew.
The pack is also missing some key men, not least back-row pair Gavin Thomas and Alix Popham.
However, Scarlets boss Phil Davies is still confident his much-changed team can put in a performance against the reigning champions.
"We need to keep building in competitions," he said. "Every game in the Heineken Cup is vital even if not this year.
"We want to make things difficult for Wasps and Clermont next week. It's all about performing and winning games."
