Western Force winger Nick Cummins has recovered in time to tackle the Lions.
Cummins has been sidelined with a quadriceps strain but he will now win his 50th cap for the Force.
Cummins is joined in the starting XV by Alfie Mafi, who is named at full-back after impressing off the bench against the Rebels.
Former Force boss John Mitchell has made two changes to his line-up following the loss to the Reds.
Former South Africa prop CJ van der Linde and scrum-half Tian Meyer are handed starts, with JC Janse van Rensburg and Ross Cronje dropped to the bench.
