Test veteran Matt Dunning will return to the Western Force squad for the visit of the Sharks.
Dunning comes onto the Force bench after young prop Kieran Longbottom injured his shoulder in training.
Force coach Richard Graham said: "Unfortunately the game is probably a day or two early for Kieran.
"Matt is ready to go and keen to be back playing, we know what we're going to get from a player of his experience."
The Sharks have made just the one change to their line-up - with JP Pietersen coming into the starting XV.
Pietersen replaces fellow Springbok wing Lwazi Mvovo, who drops to the bench.
