Dan Evans scored a hat-trick as Ospreys secured a 40-10 bonus-point win at Zebre in the Guinness PRO12.
The win keeps Ospreys in second but it was Zebre who made the brighter start, building a 10-point lead in the opening 10 minutes.
Guglielmo Palazzani opened the scoring with a penalty before adding the extras to Tommaso Boni's try but their indiscipline then undermined them.
Ospreys responded on the stroke of half-time through Ashley Beck's try, which was converted by Luke Price.
Evans added his first two tries in the space of two minutes shortly after the break and Price converted both to give them a 21-10 advantage, and Zebre's hopes further declined with Lloyd Greef's yellow card.
The Welsh region's bonus-point try, and Evans' hat-trick, came in the 50th minute shortly before Zebre's second yellow, for Gideon Koegelenberg.
Hooker Sam Parry scored their penultimate try in the 61st minute, and after Oliviero Fabiani was given the Italians' third yellow card, Dafydd Howells added Ospreys' sixth and final score and Price added his fifth conversion of the evening.
