Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic meet in another blockbuster clash as they square off in the Miami Open final on Sunday, live on Sky Sports 3 at 6pm.

The British No 1 will try to cap a milestone week while his opponent is aiming for another hardcourt double victory.

Murray is gunning for his third Miami Masters title after beating Czech Tomas Berdych 6-4 6-4 on Friday to secure his final berth.

It marks the fourth trip to the championship match for Murray who earlier this week joined the elite club of players to win 500 career matches.

Djokovic, who defeated Murray in the Australian Open final earlier this year for his eighth Grand Slam crown, and then again at last week's Indian Wells semi-final, beat big-serving John Isner 7-6 (7-3) 6-2 to stay on course for a fifth title in Florida.

Djokovic, 27, is trying to become the first player to sweep the Indian Wells and Miami Masters hardcourt titles on three separate occasions. He achieved the US hardcourt double in 2011 and again last year.

He won the Key Biscayne title in 2007, 2011, 2012 and 2014 while Murray won the championship in 2009 and 2013, and was the runner-up in 2012. The Scotsman has a home in nearby Miami and practices on the Key Biscayne courts.

Battle

"We have very similar games," Djokovic said of Murray. "We already played twice this year, and in a big match in the Australian Open final which was very, very physical and very close.

"I expect a battle, long rallies, and I know what is expected of me on the court. I know his game pretty well, as well as he knows mine."

Murray has a 8-17 losing career record against Djokovic, who has won their past six meetings.

"That gives me confidence, and maybe a slight mental advantage," the Serb said. "But we're talking about small margins. That's always the case when we play against each other."

But world No 4 Murray feels at home at Crandon Park and is relishing taking on the top seed once again after making his first final in two years at an ATP Masters 1000 tournament

High-level

Asked what he would have to do to beat his good friend Djokovic, Murray told Sky Sports 3: "Play better than I did last week - that would be a good start!

"I know I need to play high-level tennis. He returns well so I need to get the balance right of being patient but dictating points when I get the opportunity.

"I'll also be aggressive against the second serve, I'll be inside the baseline attacking - that's something I've done well this week and didn't do at Indian Wells, so that's something different.

Murray's game plan

"And just hopefully play a cleaner match. But I've played well this week, much better than I did at Indian Wells."

Djokovic will be playing his 32nd ATP Masters 1000 final (21-10) and his 74th overall (50-23) while Murray is into his 13th Masters 1000 final (9-3) and his 47th overall (31-15).

At the last 44 Masters 1000 tournaments (since 2010 Monte-Carlo), the 'Big Four' have accounted for 40 titles.

The only exceptions came at Paris-Bercy in 2010 (Robin Soderling) and 2012 (David Ferrer) and last year in Monte-Carlo (Stan Wawrinka) and Toronto (Jo-Wilfred Tsonga).

During that stretch, Djokovic has won 16 titles, Nadal 12, Federer (seven) and Murray (five).
