Sky Sports brings you the best showjumping from around the world in 2014

Sky Sports has added more world class showjumping events to its live equestrian calendar.

We brought you the Hickstead Derby on the final weekend in June and the Royal International Horse Show in July, and you won't miss any of the thrills or spills from a host of other events in 2014, including the Rolex Grand Slam and the Horse of the Year Show.

The best riders will compete on the most talented horses from across the world to decide who's got the brains, brawn and courage to take on the toughest courses in show jumping - and that means you will be able to watch some of the best British talent in action.

FEI world No.1 ranked rider Scott Brash, plus world No.2 and fellow British 2012 Olympic gold medallist Ben Maher are at the top of their game and will be desperate pick up more wins in 2014.

Britain's equestrian royal family, the Whittakers, are omnipresent in the world circuit winners enclosure and there are young guns, such as Daniel Neilson and Jessica Mendoza, to keep an eye on in this exciting time for home-grown riders.

Here are the events you can watch live on Sky Sports in 2014...


Top riders from across the globe unite for the toughest trophy in the sport. The Rolex Grand Slam links three of the world’s top events in a quest for excellence. From Aachen in Germany, the riders will move across to the world to Spruce Meadows in Canada before battling it out in Geneva just before Christmas with one thing in mind; perfection. Anyone who wins the three shows in a row receives 1 million Euros on top of the 250,000 Euro prize-money for each show. That's a lot of money...

HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW - 11-12 October

Birmingham NEC once again hosts the finals of the most prestigious national show jumping championships. Britain's best compete for trophies at all levels, including: Leading Pony Show Jumper of the Year, the Horse & Hound Senior Foxhunter Championship, The Leading Show Jumper of the Year title and of course, the famous Puissance, where riders battle the ever-increasing red brick wall.
