Verdict

Night Prospector is selected ahead of Music Box Express and Heavens Walk. Desperate Dan is the highest rated horse in the race but he was comfortably held in a similar contest over an extended five furlongs here last time and has yet to win on grass. Towy Boy finished second that day and Night Prospector fifth but the selection showed plenty of speed until crying enough at about the furlong marker and he's taken to gain his revenge now he's been returned to his optimum trip. Heavens Walk is embarking on a new campaign this afternoon so his race fitness has to be taken for granted but this represents a drop in grade and he's of interest on the pick of his form. Music Box Express ran a blinder over six furlongs at Folkestone, only narrowly ceding advantage close home. He showed sufficient speed to suggest that he'll cope with this drop back in trip and his chance must be respected but we'll be hoping that Night Prospector can strike gold.
