Verdict

Ringarooma, Miss Glory Be and Indian Edge form our shortlist and Ringarooma gets the verdict. Martin Dwyer is just the jockey for a tricky ride and he used every ounce of tactical nous to secure victory aboard Ringarooma at Lingfield Park. Held up in the early stages, the horse really seemed to work for the jockey and while consistency is not his strong point, there does not appear to be any more to do here. Miss Glory Be is on something of a losing run. She is capable of running well but is becoming increasingly frustrating to win with. Indian Edge finished infront of her when they last met at Wolverhampton. He ran lamentably at Southwell on his next start and has been rested since. Opera Knight has failed to build on a victory over course-and-distance in January. Pick Of The Crop was once rated in the mid-70s on the level. He is sent back to the summer game after making no impression over timber. The market is likely to offer most clues and in the absence of that information, we will stick with Ringarooma.
