Savannah Marshall made a winning start to her professional career on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather's showdown with Conor McGregor.

The former Olympian and Sky SportsSports Scholar dominated her four-round debut against Sydney LeBlanc to take a Unanimous Decision at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas.

Marshall, who is under Mayweather's promotional umbrella, admitted she was in awe of the place she moved into the paid ranks, but looked anything but nervous on Saturday night.

Her positive start saw her land a noticeable right in the opening round and take control from the start.

Marshall trapped LeBlanc on the ropes regularly for the next two rounds, her combinations into a slick rhythm and her clean shots scoring heavily.

It was more of the same in the fourth and final round, Marshall's jab and LeBlanc's willingness to stand in range and try and block the continual shots for another three rounds.

Referee Russell Mora's decision was anything but a surprise as the Hartlepool star followed fellow Olympians Katie Taylor and Natasha Jonas into the professional sport.
