David Allen claims he will knock out David Price inside one round and says their heavyweight fight has "zero" chance of going the distance.

Allen and Price are due to meet on the undercard of Dillian Whyte-Oscar Rivas at London's O2 on July 20, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

The popular Doncaster fighter has rejuvenated his career since teaming up with Darren Barker and returns to the ring on the back of a morale-boosting victory over former world champion Lucas Browne.

David 'The White Rhino' Allen lands a brutal left hand to the body of Lucas Browne in the third round

"I think it will be a very exciting fight, I don't see how it can fail not to be," Allen told Sky Sports.

"One of us will get knocked out. Hopefully him, possibly me, we'll see what happens. I'll roll the dice, as always, and we'll see what comes up.

"I will knock David Price out. I can be modest and all that, but I really truly believe. I'm younger, I'm fresher, I'm hungrier.

"Yeah, there are many things he does better than me - boxing one of them - but I will get to him and knock him out. I really believe I will take him out inside one round.

Dave Allen says a win against David Price would elevate him into the top 10 or 15 fighters in the world

"The winner of this fight puts themselves in the top 15 in the world.

"On the back of the Browne fight and the other wins I've put together, it would be nice - David Allen, top-15 heavyweight in the world - it sounds good and we'll see where we go from there."

Allen, who stopped Browne in three rounds with a body shot, believes there is no chance the fight with the Price will go the distance.

"Zero [chance]," insisted Allen. "If me and Price go 12 rounds, I will do something shocking, something really shocking. Something really bad will happen."
