Surrey Stars sealed their second win of the Kia Super League to boost their bid to reach the semi-finals as they thumped Lancashire Thunder by seven wickets
Stars' impressive win at Woodbridge Road, Guildford helped them move onto five points from their opening four games - level with Western Storm and second-placed Loughborough Lightning.
Second-from-bottom Thunder suffered their third defeat of the season and remain just above winless Yorkshire Diamonds in the standings.
Tammy Beaumont (45 not out) including seven fours and Bryony Smith (30) guided Surrey on their way to victory after Lancashire totalled 102-9 from their 20 overs.
New Zealand international Amy Satterthwaite top scored with an unbeaten 34, while Emma Lamb struck 27 from 18 balls but it was England left-arm spinner Alex Hartley who impressed with bowling figures of 3-11 from her four overs.
The target of 103 runs was swiftly accomplished as Beaumont and South African Marizanne Kapp saw Surrey home with 28 balls remaining.
