The Afghan's gained ODI international status in 2011 and in 2015 took part in their first ICC World Cup.

"(It) will be one historic game. Thanks largely to BCCI and Rahul Johri (CEO of BCCI) in particular," said CEO of the ACB Shafiq Stanikzai.
