It was going so well…
England were perched on 157-3 midway through the 17th over in the second T20I against South Africa in Johannesburg, thanks to a rapid stand of 96 between Jos Buttler (54) and Eoin Morgan (38).
But when the batsmen fell from successive deliveries carnage ensued, with the tourists shipping their final seven wickets for 14 runs in 19 deliveries.
Then it was all about AB de Villiers and Hashim Amla.
De Villiers (71 from 29) biffed a 21-ball fifty - the fastest in T20Is by a South African, beating his own record of 23 deliveries - while Amla thumped an unbeaten 69 from 38 as the Proteas coasted home by nine wickets with 32 deliveries to spare to take the series 2-0.
