India v England: Watch highlights from day one of the fourth Test in Mumbai
Keaton Jennings hits debut hundred before India fight back
Thursday 8 December 2016 11:42, UK
Ravichandran Ashwin took four wickets, including the vital strike of Keaton Jennings, as India fought back on day one of the fourth Test against England.
Jennings (112) made a superb start to Test cricket by hitting a hundred on debut, but two Ashwin (4-75) wickets in one over - Moeen Ali (50) and Jennings - brought the home side firmly back into the game.
Ashwin added the further scalp of Jonny Bairstow (14) - top-edging a sweep to backward square-leg - as three England wickets fell for 19 runs in the final session; the visitors ultimately closing on 288-5.

Jennings, into the side following injury to Haseeb Hameed - who was watching from the stands - notched his ton shortly before tea, reaching the milestone off 186 balls with a reverse-sweep.
The Durham opener was dropped on nought at gully and survived an lbw review on 10, but grew in confidence thereafter, becoming the 19th Englishman to score a century on debut and the first England opener to achieve the feat since Alastair Cook in Nagpur in 2006.
Jennings shared a stand of 99 with his skipper, Cook (46), who passed 2,000 Test runs against India, but was stumped off Ravindra Jadeja (1-60) 15 minutes prior to lunch.
After Joe Root (21) was caught brilliantly at slip by Virat Kohli in the second session, Jennings put on a further 94 runs for the third wicket with Moeen, till he top-edged a slog-sweep straight up in the air.
That triggered a plethora of wickets in the final session, before Ben Stokes (25no) and Jos Buttler (18no) battled through to stumps.
