Yorkshire bowled out for just 96 after Matt Renshaw smashes quickfire ton for Somerset

Australian opener Matt Renshaw hit another impressive century before Somerset skittled Yorkshire for 96 on day two of their Specsavers County Championship Division One clash.
After day one was washed out, Renshaw went about making up for lost time and appeared to be batting on a different surface to his team-mates as he plundered 112 from 99 balls before edging Jack Brooks (5-57) behind.
He accounted for more than half Somerset's first innings total as they were bowled out for 216 and his knock looked all the more remarkable as Yorkshire crumbled, Tim Groenewald taking 3-12 and Lewis Gregory 3-30.
Somerset batted out the last two overs of the day and will start the third morning on 6-0, a lead of 126.
Lancashire recovered from 23-3 to close on 352-8 against Surrey at Old Trafford, with Jordan Clark (78), Shivnarine Chanderpaul (65) and Steven Croft (62) all making half-centuries.
England hopefuls Haseeb Hameed (4) and Keaton Jennings (15) again fell cheaply before a stand of 88 between captain Liam Livingstone (48) and Chanderpaul halted the slide.
Teenage off-spinner Amar Virdi took 3-64 and Jade Dernbach picked up 3-68 for Surrey but Joe Mennie (35no) and Tom Bailey (15no) will be aiming to add to Lancashire's total on day three.
James Vince made 47 before edging behind as Hampshire advanced from 41-0 to 154-2 against Essex on another shortened day at the Ageas Bowl.
The England batsman batted patiently in a partnership of 80 with Jimmy Adams (57no) before Essex spinner Simon Harmer dismissed him just shy of his half-century.
Adams and Hashim Amla (8no) added another 20 before bad light brought the day to a premature end. Peter Siddle earlier claimed Essex's first wicket.
Worcestershire and Nottinghamshire will return to New Road on day three hoping for better luck with the weather as the second day went the same way as the first, a combination of rain and a wet outfield preventing any play.
In Division Two, Gloucestershire medium-pacer Ryan Higgins took 5-21 as Sussex collapsed from 92-0 to 145 all out at Hove.
Openers Luke Wells (27) and Philip Salt (63) were dismissed early in the day and Luke Wright (13) and Danny Briggs (11) were the only other players to reach double figures.
In reply, Gloucestershire suffered a similar batting lapse, David Wiese taking 5-48 and Ollie Robinson 4-67 to turn 91-2 into 183 all out.
Higgins struck again early in Sussex's second innings but the hosts had established a lead of 13 by the close, reaching 51-2.
Middlesex and Glamorgan suffered a frustrating day at Lord's as six pitch inspections took place before play was abandoned for the day due to a wet outfield. Middlesex are 64-3 and will hope to resume their first innings on day three.
Meanwhile, the matches between Leicestershire and Derbyshire at Grace Road and Northamptonshire and Durham at Wantage Road were washed out for the second day running.
