The crash, bang and wallop of the NatWest T20 Blast returns to Sky Sports Ashes this week as we bring you each of the quarter-finals live.
We’ll be at Hove on Wednesday, Edgbaston on Thursday, New Road on Friday and Canterbury on Saturday to see which four sides make Finals Day, at Edgbaston, on August 29.
Luke Wright’s Sussex Sharks will get things underway in the opening last-eight encounter, welcoming Northamptonshire Steelbacks to a hopefully sunny south coast (6.15pm, Wednesday).
Wright smoked three fifties and a majestic 56-ball 111 not out in the group stages but the Steelbacks have some master blasters of their own, including David Willey, Josh Cobb and Ben Duckett.
Defending champions Birmingham Bears won’t be able to call upon Brendon McCullum in their clash with Essex Eagles (6.15pm, Thursday) so will be looking to Rikki Clarke, Varun Chopra and Jeetan Patel for inspiration.
Essex, though, have Ravi Bopara in form with both bat and ball, Tom Westley and Mark Pettini scoring runs. Former Australia paceman Sean Tait is also impressing, the seamer taking 22 wickets in the pool phase.
Worcestershire Rapids, who finished second to Birmingham in the North Group, will fancy their chances of making it to Finals Day for the first time when they entertain Hampshire (5.15pm, Friday, via red button).
Captain Daryl Mitchell and spinner Saeed Ajmal have been crucial for Worcester but with a well-rounded attack and James Vince and Michael Carberry in tow, the visitors shouldn’t be written off.
The quarter-finals conclude with 2007 winners Kent Spitfires tackling last term's runners-up Lancashire Lightning (2pm, Saturday).
Kent’s Sam Northeast has flourished in the Blast this term – only Gloucestershire’s Michael Klinger has bettered his 627 runs – so can James Faulkner, Stephen Parry and co keep him quiet?
