England have made Ashes winners Alastair Cook, Ian Bell, Moeen Ali and Jos Buttler available for their counties for the NatWest T20 Blast quarter-finals.

All four have been ever-presents in the England Test side this summer and were able to celebrate Ashes series victory at Trent Bridge on Saturday.

England captain Cook and former vice-captain Bell will come up against one another in the second quarter-final, Bell's Birmingham Bears hosting the Essex Eagles at Edgbaston on Thursday.

Worcestershire will have Moeen back at the top of their order when they take on Hampshire at New Road on Friday and he is thrilled to have the chance to represent his county again.

Moeen wrote in his blog on ecb.co.uk:  "I'm really pleased that I can play in the Blast quarter-final at Worcester on Friday.

"We've never had a home quarter-final before, and it's a great chance to get back to Edgbaston for finals day. I can't wait to play again."

England's remaining players will be resting up, with their counties not having made it to the last-eight of the 20-over competition, including much-fancied Yorkshire who have five members of the 14-man squad for the final Ashes Test at the Kia Oval.
