Warwickshire have appointed former England and Essex batsman Graham Gooch as a batting consultant.
The 62-year-old has been working with the county's batsmen in one-to-one sessions ahead of the new season and will now continue in the role at various times during the forthcoming campaign.
Gooch played 118 Tests for England and scored 67,057 runs during his senior career.
He has previously coached Essex and worked with Warwickshire batsmen Ian Bell, who has been named captain of the county, and Jonathan Trott in his five-year spell as England's batting coach.
Warwickshire director of cricket Dougie Brown told the county's official website: "Graham is a very impressive bloke whose record speaks for itself and for our guys to get advice from somebody like him is pretty powerful.
"Our England guys know him well and how he works and are all really pleased that he is involved. He sets incredibly high standards.
"His job isn't to change people in any dramatic way but just to offer advice. He talks a very straightforward game and we think it will pay huge rewards."
