Trevor Bayliss says England must score more centuries

England coach Trevor Bayliss says his batsmen need to score more hundreds if they are to avoid further narrow series defeats.
England went down 2-1 to India despite scoring over 300 in all three matches. In fact their lowest score came in the final game in Kolkata, the one match they won.
The batsmen score nine fifties between them in the three ODIs, but only skipper Eoin Morgan scored a century.
And Bayliss thinks one or two more tons could have seen England win the series.
"If there is an area we need to improve, it's one or two guys going on to get a hundred," he told Sky Sports.
"Automatically that gives us that extra 20 or 30 runs that may well have won us the first two games.
"The batting has been fantastic. We make our lowest score and we actually win one. To go so close in the first two and bat so well, it's very pleasing."
The bowlers have been taking some flak for failing to defend 350 in Pune and conceding 381-6 in Cuttack,
But Bayliss said: "I'm not necessarily concerned. We've seen them bowl very well. Throughout this series we've probably been a bit on the short side."
England begin a three-match Twenty20 international series against India on Thursday in Kanpur, a game that you can watch live on Sky Sports 2 from 7.30am.
