Michael van Gerwen is a major doubt to take part in Thursday night's Premier League Darts in Glasgow - live on Sky Sports - due to a 'medical issue'.
League leader Van Gerwen is due to go head-to-head with world champion Luke Littler on Scottish soil.
The Dutchman boasts a three-point lead at the Premier League summit after featuring in successive nightly finals to start the 2026 season, although he was beaten 6-3 by an imperious Gerwyn Price in Antwerp last week.

A statement from the PDC read: "Michael has a medical issue and is awaiting results of tests which will determine whether he can travel to Glasgow."
Tournament rules stipulate that if any player is forced to withdraw from a Premier League night, their quarter-final opponent would instantly receive a bye into the semi-finals.
If Van Gerwen was to pull out then Littler will face either Jonny Clayton or Price in the semi-finals.
The news comes after Van Gerwen's close friend Vincent van der Voort revealed the three-time world champion is on antibiotics after he 'picked up something.'
Speaking on the Darts Draait Door podcast, Van der Voort said: "Unfortunately, we still don't know for sure if Michael will play.
"He's picked up something and is on antibiotics. I can't say yet that he'll be there. We'll have to wait and see over the coming days.
"Tests are being done, and I hope they find it quickly so it can be resolved. There's a chance he won't be there.
"Everything is uncertain for now. Every time you think it's turning the right way, something happens again."
Van Gerwen was unable to compete in Berlin during last year's tournament after he sustained a shoulder injury.
Who will win this year's Premier League Darts? Luke Humphries will be defending his title and you can watch the action every single Thursday from February until May on Sky Sports. Stream darts and more top sport with NOW.
