Highlights as Luke Littler battled back from 5-0 down to defeat Gerwyn Price and win in Dublin

World No 1 Luke Littler battled back from the brink of defeat, reeling off six legs on the spin to edge out Gerwyn Price in a last-leg thriller and claim Premier League Darts Night Seven in Dublin.

Littler cemented his spot behind league leader Jonny Clayton after seeing off Stephen Bunting and then defeating Michael van Gerwen in a crackerjack of a semi-final before fighting his way back from 5-0 down to beat Price.

The back-to-back world champion survived eight match-darts in total to seal victory in the Irish capital - three for Van Gerwen and five for Price, including a shot for the Welshman at his usually-reliable tops when leading 5-1 as Littler waved to the crowd in an apparent acceptance of his fate.

"The rest is history. I was gone. When Gerwyn Price was on tops... he doesn't usually miss.

"Jonny and the start he has had, it is good to see I am in second but I am right behind him now and chasing."

Littler waved to the crowd as whistles rang out during his post‑match interview with Wayne Mardle and Emma Paton following his comeback victory over Price

Sky Sports' Wayne Mardle:

"That is not something that happens often to Gerwyn Price. It is just one of those.

"It is so volatile, it is such a volatile little format and you can see it was fun for Luke to win that.

"It is not always about the 105 averages, it is about nicking one that you shouldn't win. He shouldn't have won that. Gerwyn Price missed chance after chance."

Littler had earlier survived three match darts before dispatching Van Gerwen 6-5 in a remarkable semi-final showdown.

'Mighty Mike' hit a majestic 170 finish to go 5-3 up, but the 19-year-old reeled in 'The Big Fish' to draw level before winning a classic by pinning D5 when throwing first in the decider. It was arguably the match of the year so far!

Price averaged north of 109 with five 180s and and 6/9 on the doubles to complete a 6-1 demolition of Luke Humphries and deny 'Cool Hand' a chance to secure his first nightly win of 2026 as reigning champion.

Josh Rock was not in good spirits after a drubbing against Price

In the other quarter-finals, Price whitewashed a demoralised Josh Rock.

The Welshman, who won in Dublin in the 2025 edition of the Premier League, averaged over 103.66 and hit 47 per cent of his doubles in a routine win where he limited his opponent to just four darts at double.

Humphries averaged 103.44 to hand Clayton a first quarter-final defeat in the competition this season with a 6-3 victory and a 120 'Shanghai' finish.

But 'The Ferret' will remain top of the Premier League heading into Night Eight in Berlin - but only by three points with Littler breathing down his neck.
