Max Verstappen, Lance Stroll in April racing action on Sky Sports F1 schedule featuring GT, IndyCar, Nurburgring and more

Find out what live motorsport action is airing on Sky Sports F1's TV and YouTube channels during April ahead of Formula 1's return at the start of May; Lance Stroll making debut in GT World Challenge Europe this weekend at Paul Ricard

Formula 1's return in Miami may still be weeks away but there's plenty of live motorsport to watch on Sky Sports F1 during the rest of April.

With the F1 season on its enforced break, check out racing action from other categories and events with a busy schedule of live track action over the next three weekends on both our TV and YouTube channels.

First up this weekend - April 11 and 12 - sees action from the opening weekend of the GT World Challenge Europe season, in which Aston Martin F1 driver Lance Stroll makes his debut, and the latest round from the Nurburgring Endurance Series.

Plus, later in the month, watch out for the latest round of the IndyCar season, plus historic racing action from Goodwood and Monaco.

This weekend - April 11-12: GT World Challenge, NLS

The Aston Martin GT World Challenge car

Aston Martin's Stroll follows in the footsteps of Max Verstappen by making his GT racing debut at the season-opening round of the GT World Challenge Europe at Paul Ricard.

In a plan put together during the Japanese GP weekend, Stroll will team up with former F1 driver Roberto Merhi and 21-year-old F2 driver Mari Boya in an Aston Martin Vantage for the six-hour day-night race featuring 60 cars in France.

And while he is not racing himself this weekend, Verstappen's own Verstappen Racing team is in action, with Stroll revealing he tapped into the Dutchman's recent experience of endurance racing.

"[I spoke with Max] briefly in Suzuka when I had the idea," said Stroll.

"We talked about who to contact, and since he's already involved in GT racing, we discussed it a bit. Everyone enjoys driving GT3 cars - they're fun."

The weekend also includes live coverage of the support events at Paul Ricard with GT3, GT4 and Lamborghini series.

Meanwhile, over on the Sky Sports F1 YouTube channel, you can stream the latest race from the Nurburgring Endurance Series in NLS 3 on Saturday morning.

Coverage of the 2026 IndyCar Series continues on Sky Sports F1 with round five from Long Beach in California.

Watch practice, qualifying, the warm-up and then the race itself from across the weekend at the famous street track amid an exciting start to the season which has seen four different polesitters and three different winners across the opening quartet of events.

As preparations ramp up for the showpiece 24-hour race in May, there's an NLS double header from the Nurburgring - both streaming on YouTube - with Verstappen to return alongside Lucas Auer - the nephew of former Ferrari and McLaren driver Gerhard Berger - in their Red Bull-liveried Mercedes GT3 car.
