Oleguer to be allowed to leave Camp Nou
Ajax are in talks to sign Barcelona defender Oleguer to increase the Spanish contingent at the Amsterdam ArenA.
New Barca coach Pep Guardiola appears to be willing to allow Oleguer to leave the Camp Nou before the close of the transfer window.
Oleguer, who is under contract until 2010, has struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular at Barca.
He could now be offered a move to Holland after Barca confirmed talks are taking place between the two clubs.
"They're speaking and we are hopeful we'll be able to announce something new next week," Barca director of football Rafael Yuste told
RAC1.
If Oleguer does join the Dutch giants, he will link up with compatriots Albert Luque, Ismael Urzaiz and Gabri.
