LIV Golf's season finale in Michigan has not been cancelled, Sky Sports News understands.
Sources close to LIV Golf have told Sky Sports News that the event is currently going ahead as planned, with the league preparing for individual and team events.
LIV Michigan is scheduled for the end of August and sources indicated that while it has not been cancelled, alternative events are being planned.

The news comes after the Saudi-backed PIF said that the "substantial investment required is no longer consistent" with the fund's investment strategy moving forward in April.
It is understood that LIV continues to be in discussions with prospective investors, with sources indicating that talks are moving at pace.
No announcement is anticipated until after LIV Golf New York.
CEO Scott O'Neil has previously said the focus is on taking a "disciplined approach to support the League's long-term sustainability and maintain operations" while the league works to secure an investment.
LIV Golf did not comment on reports the Michigan event had been cancelled but said the event in the UK broke attendance records, with approximately 15,000 guests through the week.
Rahm tight-lipped on future as Asian Tour lands fresh blow to LIV
Jon Rahm remains tight-lipped about his LIV Golf future for 2027, saying "we know a lot of what's going on" but he is not in a position to share details.
The future of the breakaway golf league beyond the end of this season remains in doubt after the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund confirmed in April it is ending its funding for the series.
As one of the league's highest-profile players, Rahm's future beyond this season has been the subject of speculation amid LIV's bid to seek alternative investment.
Asked last week whether he had any clarity about LIV's future heading into 2027, Rahm said: "Yes. Well, we're in contact with them.
"We know a lot of what's going on, yeah. Not that I can share with you guys right now."

Put to him that he seemed optimistic, the Spaniard said: "I'm always optimistic.
"I play a game for a living. I can't really be too upset about how things are going in life. Even though I'm very frustrated on the course very often, off the course I'm very different to what a lot of people think."
Rahm, who joined the league from the start of 2024, was then asked directly whether he expected to be playing on LIV next year.
"I'm not going to share anything that I can't share with you guys right now," he replied.
