Thursday 28 December 2017 17:08, UK
New England Patriots fans came out in force as Rob Gronkowski's one-handed touchdown grab was a runaway winner of our NFL Play of Week 16 vote!
In a competitive week of one-handed catches, punt return TDs and a butt interception, Gronk's stunning effort hauled in a massive 53% of the vote, comfortably beating DeAndre Hopkins (23%) and Marshon Lattimore (12%) into second and third spot.
Click on the video above to watch our pick of the top five best plays from Week 16 of the 2017 season and then see more on the five options below...
A) ROB GRONKOWSKI - one-handed TD reception, Bills @ Patriots
Gronk is a beast, a match-up nightmare! And, even when you do cover him, he can still haul in a touchdown one-handed on the turn, as he did here with this incredible grab for a score against the Bills.
B) MARSHON LATTIMORE - butt interception, Falcons @ Saints
We all remember the infamous Mark Sanchez butt fumble for the Jets way back when - well, we've now had the butt interception to go with it! Saints rookie cornerback Marshon Lattimore breaks up a Matt Ryan pass, with the tipped ball then landing on his butt as he lies on the ground before somehow hauling it in for the interception.
C) DAMIERE BYRD - 103-yard kick-off return TD, Buccaneers @ Panthers
We all love a good kick-off return TD, and Byrd treated us to this corker in Carolina's win over Tampa Bay on Sunday, speeding his way all of 103 yards for the score.
D) JAKEEM GRANT - 65-yard catch and run TD, Dolphins @ Chiefs
Miami's only touchdown of the game was a good one, no, great one! Grant was given the ball off a short check-down throw by Jay Cutler before then weaving his way through traffic, running over the odd Kansas City defender on his way into the end zone.
E) DEANDRE HOPKINS - one-handed TD reception, Steelers @ Texans
Hopkins underlined his credentials as one of the top wide receivers in the NFL with a spectacular one-handed catch for a Houston TD. Surrounded by coverage, Hopkins managed to tap the ball into the air with one hand and as it looped over Steelers cornerback Joe Haden and then somehow hauled the ball in one-handed with his other hand, all the while keeping both feet in bounds in the end zone.
We'll bring you the best plays of every week in the NFL for you to vote on like above, so check back in on Tuesday next week to see the very best Week 17 has to offer.
