Multiple Grammy Award winner P!nk will sing the National Anthem as part of pregame activities for Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis.
The American singer, songwriter and actress has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and won numerous awards for her music, including three Grammys on 18 nominations, six MTV Music Video Awards and two People's Choice Awards.
The Pennsylvania native released her seventh studio album, Beautiful Trauma, last summer and is scheduled to kick off a world tour a month after her date at the Super Bowl, which takes place on Sunday, February 4 and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
She follows in the recent footsteps of the likes of Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys in singing the Star Spangled Banner, which was performed in 2017 by country and western star Luke Bryan.
The NFL had previously announced that Justin Timberlake will headline the Super Bowl LII Halftime Show at state-of-the-art US Bank Stadium.
Minneapolis is hosting the NFL's championship game for the second time, the first having come in 1992 at the Hubert H. Humphrey Superdome, on the same site as the new home of the Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings are one of four remaining teams in the race to secure the NFC's place in the Super Bowl and they take on the New Orleans Saints in their divisional round clash on Sunday, also live on Sky Sports.
