Horse racing news: Unlucky break for jockey Pat Cosgrave

Pat Cosgrave is to miss the start of the Flat season after fracturing his leg following an incident on the gallops on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old sustained a broken fibula above his right ankle while riding work for George Baker, after a horse slipped and fell on him while walking back.
Newmarket-based Cosgrave, who has enjoyed Group One success aboard the likes of Society Rock and Borderlescott, had made a solid start to the year, partnering 19 winners.
Cosgrave said: "These things can happen any time, but 10 days before the start of the Flat season is not ideal - it has happened and I can't do a lot about that.
"I am very disappointed and pretty gutted, as I had some nice rides coming up while I had made a good start to the year. Hopefully I will only be out for five or six weeks.
"I'd like to think as a jockey I am strong minded and pretty determined, so I am going to try and get back as quick as possible and will do whatever I can to make that happen.
"At the same time as not wanting to take too long off, I want to make sure that the bone is properly healed.
"I have got a boot on it at the moment and I am going to see the specialist again on Monday to see what the best option is."
