Verdict

Romeo Brown will probably make the running but turned in a shocker when last seen. Bold Plan was in fine form in the spring and probably needed the run at Kempton last month. Benson has finished second in his two runs to date for Sandy Thomson and Foster'sisland is another who has been knocking on the door. Whizz Kid could be interesting if handling this step up in trip as his best performance to date came here in April but Langer Dan makes more appeal as he’s a classy sort having won a Grade 3 handicap here in the spring. Walking On Air was fancied for a Grade 1 at the same meeting but jumped poorly and ran green. He is a potential blot on the handicap but HARBOUR LAKE (NAP) has the more solid form and the return to 2m4f will suit after he got outpaced over 2m at Cheltenham. Herbiers is a likeable sort but high enough in the weights now.
