Verdict
Many Clouds is looking to lay to rest the curse which has seen recent Grand National winners fail to land another race. He still has time on his side and was clearly in need of the run behind Cue Card at Wetherby in October in a race in which Menorah was pulled up. But he may struggle to give 5lb to DON POLI as Willie Mullins' six-year-old beat Southfield Theatre by six lengths in the RSA Chase at Cheltenham in March and something was clearly amiss when he finished last when odds-on at Punchestown next time.
