In depth
Formwatch
Ballinclay King (IRE) Looked good last term but hasn't quite lived up to expectations and could be found wanting again today.
Corniche (IRE) Handles the ground and jumps well but tends to find one too good too often; still is likely to play a leading role.
Sandy Duff Capable on his day and shouldn't find the testing conditions too much of a challenge; on bare form has a few pounds to find but the ground is a great leveler.
Simply Gifted Decent northern novice who can't be ruled out despite being held by his rivals on previous form; will love the ground and is not without a chance in an open event.
Tonoco has something to find with Ballinclay King on previous running but seems to be improving fast and should cope with the ground; leading contender
Inn Antique (FR) Talented performer but doesn't always get round; however will love the ground and is rated very highly by his shrewd trainer; sure to go close if he picks his feet up.
Whitenzo (FR) Murdered Corniche at Taunton in January and then put the useful Rodock in his place last time; likely favourite and the one they all have to beat.
