Verdict

Clondaw Kaempfer attracted significant market support on his reappearance at Haydock but didn't jump well and was soon struggling. He may be capable of better while Like Minded shaped with promise behind God's Own at Kempton. Capellanus was only beaten half-a-length over a longer trip at Musselburgh after winning at Southwell and Sound Investment caught the eye at Wincanton last month when probably in need of the run. But LIEUTENANT MILLER catches the eye here off bottom weight. He didn't run badly when fourth at Cheltenham but this easier course should be more to his liking and he was in terrific form on the Flat over the summer. Lamb Or Cod is back over a more suitable trip but is hard to predict.
